I put another mix together with a bunch of my favourite crossover tunes. This is mostly very late 92, 93 -95 hardcore, jungle and dark drum and bass. Styled like many a Swane-e set with some obscure releases mixed with some old favourites.

Here’s hoping you enjoy 🙂

Soul Searchers – Blow Your Whistle [1974]
October 7, 2009

Taken from “The Salt of the Earth” released in 1974 on Sussex Records.

Washington, D.C., bandleader, performer, and songwriter Chuck Brown has been a prominent figure on the city’s go-go scene since the late ’70s. Brown & the Soul Searchers have also been one of the rare go-go acts to gain national attention, even though it was short-lived.  Go-go is a subgenre of funk music developed in and around Washington DC. in the mid- and late 1970s. While its musical classification, influences, and origins are debated, Brown is regarded as the fundamental force behind the creation of go-go music

Figured i’d take the music postings ive been making on Facebook a new home, you’ll find all the music that fills my favourite cans daily.

My cans of choice are my six year old Senheisser 477HD over ear headphones.  Probably the best headphones ive ever owned, ive replaced the cords about six times and its been worth it every time despite having now spent more money in spares than they cost in the first place!

If you spend as much time in front of a computer as I do, your headphones are probably as important as the keyboard or the mouse / Wacom tablet.  So, if your interested, why not share your cans of choice and the tracks that fill them!
