Damn, remember this cut? I have no idea why but Elizabeth Troy’s fantastic vocal popped into my head about 10 seconds ago. What a vocal it is as well, it absolutely trounces this otherwise middle of the road Jungle offering. Soundman takes it too easy on the break, aiming for a more Bukem sound but retaining the broken beats of Jungle. However, once your about three minutes in, all the pieces fall into place and the track (finally) takes off. A proper hard steppa of a track. Raw and gorgeous, just the way it should be!
On the B-Side Shy FX does a what he does best and drops massive great bass warps and amens over the vocal for the dancehall folks, definately loosing the melodic aspect of the original, instead opting to beat you to death with Junglism.
