Leviticus – Burial [1994]

Last one 🙂 The absolutely legendary Leviticus aka Jumping Jack Frost. The original released on Philly Bluntz records had two mixes, the Mademoseille mix and the Lovers Mix, both very similar, both played to shit. A year later FFRR issued a reissue with the four mixes dubbed “Chronic 1-4”.

B Side – The Lovers Rock Mix With Vocals by Yolanda
“First you say yes n’ then you say no…”

From Discogs
A true original ragga Jungle classic from original first day Jungle producer Jumping Jack Frost with the enchanting ‘Big Bad and Heavy’ male vocals cleverly call & responsed by female vocalist Yolanda. This particular track got so many media exposure due to the many dj plays it got on the UK Jungle raves back in the days. Also this particular track helped to push the more ragga influenced Jungle sound after the more ‘rave’ inspired piano looped breakbeat wich was at it’s top at that period of time.
